After a recess of more than fifty years, the Exodus Publishing House has renewed its book publishing activities as of 2004. Despite the extended length of its inactivity, the Exodus Publishing House still perceives as its duty the presentation of those peripheral areas of interest of the past and present which, due to their limited resources, would not be able to draw the attention which they merit.

Unique books
The speciality of our publishing house is the publication of artbook series in unique, personal editions or in limited numbers which feature the works of renown artists and contain their printed illustrations. The novelty of this type of artbook, as compared to the traditionally printed, mass-produced publication, is that here the trade’s well-known division of labour loses its role and the artist or the publisher assumes complete responsibility for each phase of the publication process. These editions generally appear in very limited numbers (the single publication itself is not a rarity) as their authors usually do not labour in literature but in art and, as a consequence, one is more likely to encounter these publications at exhibitions rather than in bookstores.
